(Reuters) - The chief executives of Apple Inc, Walmart Inc, IBM Corp and other major companies are

joining a Trump administration advisory board that hopes to prepare U.S. workers to deal with job

training issues and the workforce shift brought by artificial intelligence and automation, the U.S.

Commerce Department said on Wednesday.

Last year, IBM applied for 12,381 H-1B visas, paying workers an average salary of $87,378, according to data from the Department of Labor. This is not counting the existing H1-B workers at big blue.
