I don’t know why they gave stock this year, just to take it all away a few days later. Seems they could’ve saved the,selves some paperwork....

Spill the beans but request anonymity just in case. I noticed they pulled a post about pension buyout amounts this week. We have the right to disclose! Why not disclose all out of years of service with salary and title?

I was also called. I am supposed to call them back. I am going to tell them everything. Also about how UP is treating the people still working.

Better do it anonymously or they can sue. Because in your package they said you are not to talk to anyone. Believe me, they can somehow sue and take away your severance and pension, if any. I wouldn’t put anything past this bunch. And if you kept your company phone, wipe it so they can’t spy on you.

Anyone reached out to Omaha news station? I bet they would eat this story up. This feels like a “6 Can Help” piece they would love to run.

I would also encourage them to look into the LB 775 Nebraska state income tax credits that were granted to the UP in exchange for increased employment in the state of Nebraska

Wondered my self. Awarded 10k in stock this year for my valued service, then it taken back days later suggesting I will see none of that with layoff. This yrs award zeroed out entirely 25% from last year. Not like I broke the vestment agreement walking away although I guess that what they asking me to sign agreement to with any severance payment.

I was also called. Not much to lose by talking to them at this point.
