Wait... Honeywell owns the Olathe facility? I thought Honeywell paid for the construction of it back in 1998 and then sold it in order to lease it back because somehow that reduces expenses...
Did that never happen or did Honeywell buy it back?

The facility was purchased from the city of olathe in the summer of 2003 after the De-certification of the union, there was a tent and a party to celebrate the golden future of the site. 18 months later the off-shoring began.
Yes Honeywell owns it. Go to the Johnson County Kansas assessor website and search the address: 23500 W 105TH ST. What difference does it make?
