Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Sayonara for Sam's?

Every store I see here in central Il. looks dead in the water. Almost no cars in the lot or people in the stores. They look like K Mart of the early 2000s. Which is actually all fine with me; I never was a fan, could never see the sense in having to pay someone a membership fee just to come in and buy their hardly even discounted sh!t. Thoughts from anyone else as to what Sam's vital signs might be?

Found this on the Walmart board on this site. Thought ir would be interesting for more people to see what they re saying about Sam's. ThreadID is @Xwqk6VK

Springfield and Champaign are two very busy clubs. Normal and Peoria do very well. Decatur??? Well that’s a different story

I'm in NE Alabama and our store is still going strong. Shelves are staying full, hiring is at the level it's always been, and sales are up. I'm a lead and my area has been up 10-15% every week so far this year.
