Yes this is happening. Most GCCM positions well be eliminated due to them never really learning and adopting to the job requirements/rules/regulations from the switch from 'AP'. Their have been general issues, fines, and incompetence with the switch.
Kinda funny they will eliminate the AP replacement after they have already eliminated AP... Smart Company
Overnight Manager, Grocery Consumable Compliance Manager, and General Merchandise Manager positions get eliminated.
They are recreating a GM1 and GM2 position to oversee the floor and backroom. The Member Experience Manager oversee TBC, gas station, etc... The GM1 and GM2 will be over compliance and applicable PTC tasks. GM2 higher level than GM1.
The overnight lead turns into AM/PM merchandise leads and their is two. It's a basic 1, 2, lead structure for salary manager and lead like fresh.
All affected associates get option of interviewing for available positions or severance per policy. 2 or more coaching and they are displaced.

Overnight manager goes to days with the team lead and they rotate with each other on opening/closing. No managers were let go.

The overnight associates will get offered the AM or PM stocking shift. Similar with the leads their will be two.
The overnight manager and grocery consumable compliance manager will get severance or 60 days to find a position within a Sam's or Walmart.
I believed they offered one of the two shifts or severene. Overnight manager and GM were pulling them one by one to have a discussion.
