Now that the company is basically his there is no need for him to be bee in the spotlight and he is slowly stepping out of the spotlight, especially in light of the painful cuts that need to me made and the job-keeping promise that’s going to be broken. But make no mistake, Eddie is the only decision maker and everything that happens from now on is only his will, he just won't be on TV as much.

It's TWO companies now. Eddie's all up in the one he owns. What should scare you is that he told the Wall Street journal that he's keeping the company private for awhile so he can do things that shareholders wouldn't support. He has (obviously) never respected the shareholders so this whole really make you think.
So, he can continue living in his private estate, and never go into the outside world again. One guy gets kidnapped, suddenly he never wants to leave his home again....
He stepped down from the board of the old bankrupt company not the new one that he now owns.
