Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

It feels terrible, actually

It feels terrible, actually. Our core used to be great, but the Xerox beauracracy keeps giving us substandard products and expects us to be QA. Bonuses delayed (indefinitely?), benefits slashed, positions not being filled, sales getting commissions reduced... and I feel for the people who were sacrificed by Johnny V and Icahn to make the Xerox carcass look plump.

I find it absolutely comedic that we are going to become a tech powerhouse. DocuShare is a turd, Alta/Versa are better than previous generations, but still buggy. ConnectKey 2 devices are a joke... 5 minute boot times? And the internal support provided to the cores was garbage for anything. A tech powerhouse with an abysmal support model, innovative!

Good luck folks, protect yourselves. I hope all of you move on to greener grass.

Sorry. As you know Direct sales, support and service was decimated over the past 10 years. It was one of the most traumatizing management actions that I’ve seen in my life in any business. It’s right up there with Enron where ppl lost a lot. The difference is the ongoing management affects on you.

I believe It’s been calculating, cold, thankless and it’s now what you will experience.

You may feel like a voodoo doll until your time here ends. God bless and good luck.

Well there goes their HIGH END MANAGEMENT delivering “results” and guaranteeing “quality” performances hiring cheap end e support to take over the company. Of course, it would collapse, if it did back in the day when it had people loyal enough to this company why wouldn’t it with the quality of employees and their work, that speaks for itself, who are the pRojection of any results til this day!
