Same here. The group they put me in was not even applicable to me. I was concurrently working 5 non-targeted roadmap critical apps when I got tapped. In fact, others who had the functional group name they had down for me in their actual titles were excluded from the targeted group; go figure, but definitely very fishy to say the least. HR acknowledged and apologized for the mistake, but said they had to go with what they had on their paper; said this round is not allowed to appeal, despite mistakes being made. Manager acknowledged the mistake too, but since it was already after-the-fact (as he [said he] was not included in the black ops mtgs), he showed no spine to defend me in order to to protect his own hide...exact opposite of what a manager is supposed to do. Anyways, it is what is in. I've moved on. Their loss. And from the forums, it appears I am not alone in being mis-targeted, and consistently erroneously selected their best employees in many, many cases; with more sure to follow after bonus payout.

Would be great to understand how this worked as what was provided to me doesn’t make total sense based on other people’s job codes that were tha same as mine but not in the group.
