Their is no longer an anticipation or excitement for our sales because we are always on sale. One Day sales weekends were insane.

People looked forward to friends snd family. Now VIP, Ultimate shopping, 2 friends and family are all the same and now we are adding 25% and 30% passes for card holders.

The cost to change signs to take something from a special to Use your card and ... its the same price is nonsense.

Stop trying to force bad trend. Nonething ever matches from dept to dept. RTW, Fashion Jewelry, accessories..

Its got to be worse than Barnes and Noble. Do they change prices 3 or 4 times a week on everything, give coupons when most everything is on special so they don't work, push the ridiculous idea of presell where a customer pays but has to come back (and its often cheaper the day they pick it up), etc.

Apples and oranges, you are comparing obsolete to even more obsolete.

Reality says Macy’s will survive with a much smaller physical footprint and much more emphasis on online. Someone say hello to 2019

Macy's three day one sale is a stupid concept. Macy's should have adopted Strawbridge's monthly Clover Days sale. After the merger it soon became apparent the Macy's One Day Sale did not have the powerful draw that Clover Days produced.
