Look at the failure of the companies he left in his wake. Lowe's is another that is being torn apart. Just getting rid of people is an easy solution to try to make it look like expenses are being cut instead of trying to find solutions and creative strategies to make a new niche in the marketplace for Lowes. Following Home Depot and wearing Home Depot colors is id--tic. Lowes will never be an Amazon either so stop following. Lowes used to be geared more for the homeowner and Home Depot for the contractors. Now Lowes is just one big mess. Customers say they don't want to buy because they think the company is going out of business from the other store closings.
I agree as well as do many of the associates at my store. Niblock and Ellison have undone in short order what those before them took years to build.
I wholeheartedly agree with your post. As a successful Pse I don’t feel secure in my job, the people I work with do not feel secure in there jobs at the store level. I don’t know anyone who feels good about Lowe’s. How Mr Niblock and now Mr Ellison have made the associates feel will be the undoing of this company.
