why go for this and only cover up the bad sh-- that happens at whole foods when promoted?

go back to school and realize where you f---ed up and where you need to be to take care of yourself not a sh--ty runned down company where you are the escape goat for leaderships failures!

at my store we just 5-6 different papers on tranings but don’t have time to read the 20-30 pages that are in the kits so we got warnings for wasting time.

Re: the hazardous waste program, the problem I see with WFM trainings, at least at my store, is that we make people watch a video or read a PowerPoint, then take a multiple-choice quiz, and there’s no hands-on implementation of what they’ve just “learned.” A lot of newer TMs have never signed in, don’t know their login, never knew that any of this stuff existed. The quizzes are a joke. The answers are so obvious even if you haven’t read or watched the material, and you’d have to be a mo--n to fail. And they have to take these quizzes in the middle of a busy shift in which they are one of two people in their whole department, with scarcely any leadership presence to reinforce good habits and practices. Generally speaking, regular TMs are not necessarily highly intelligent or diligent, and it really does take rigorous training if you want them to consistently do things the right way. Until that happens, we’ll keep hiring people who don’t know how to sweep a floor and expect them to know how to use IRMA.

we put a lot of effort into the hazardous waste program but we have short memory team members who still leave chemical containers everwhere and batteries in garbage or compost .The need to fill out ranks the need to be responsible buisness we were one of the stores that was fined due to this you would think it would be a matter of the past but is it just a weak program or weak team members?

even with an education in whole foods in the posting they say you need to be in good standing with your store leadership and ac .

This means if you don’t play ball you don’t get a good reference and the problem lies in

at any level in whole foods if you don’t help cover up their mistakes or go along with illegal activity you just never get promoted.

The current leadership have sunken wfm the depeest depths of where a company can be . Look for another retailer where at least they have “integrity” something wfm lacks.
