Would we need to use our discount/certificate by the end of the month, is our certificate good until it expires in a year, or did we lose out discount/certificate when we were walked out?

why would you still buy a GM vehicle after all this mess?
I bought a new ford truck. Told the dealer I was a GM employee. Saved $4000 off the best deal I could get as a GM employee for a Silverado.
Why not buy a used vehicle with low miles?
It's not a fixed discount anymore.
It's based on your level, and the vehicle you want to buy.
A lot of vehicles don't get any discount, and the more expensive vehicles get the biggest discount. Which still is less generous than it used to be.
$2000 That's it? They were giving out $10000 back in 2005-06.
Well that's good news. But I'm definitely still wondering about the certificate though, which is $2000 off a handful of cars, including the new blazer.
I've been gone since 2006 and still get all discounts.
