No where does it say sears is getting out of the softlines business. I dare you to find that quote! What it says is LESS clothing! Sounds like you are the one who needs to “keep up” or else learn to read?
Comps since the start of the year make it pretty clear that Eddie buying up what was left was a complete waste of time. It's like people assume Sears is already dead so don't shop anymore. Just collect a paycheck and be glad you can collect a paycheck while it lasts.
There was no spring merchandise bought during BK. Those items would have needed to be ordered and paid for last year. Secondly, Sears/Kmart is getting out of the softline business and making stores smaller with only hardlines, tools, appliances, mattresses. That is the go forward plan. Please keep up on what is happening.

@icxq so what if his store is closing? Eddie's already closed 2500 stores, and there's only 200 Sears to go. It's only a matter of time. Anyone who thinks different is kidding themselves.
We got a ton of summer stuff in a couple weeks ago wtf is wrong with your store? Everyone’s been talking about it.
Patio sets, grills, bathing suits, shorts, back room is stuffed cause we can’t push it out fast enough.

Liquidation in or out of bankruptcy, with or without Eddie, it's all the same.
So in other words.. we will be selling winter clothes in spring and probably summer ..
our trucks are real small last couple of weeks. Ugh
Are the sending in new winter clothes? A lot of stuff that was supposed to ship was tied up in bankruptcy. Eddie paid a pittance for most of it. They’re gonna have to clear all that junk out of the pipeline.
