I remember at the UP glass building there were words on the wall spoken by a former ceo which paraphrased read: “every railroad has tracks and equipment, but the best part of Union Pacific is our people.”
I was wondering if that is now being changed to: “Hooray for the shareholders! We’re gonna ride this horse till it’s out of gas and then we’ll get a new one.”

That’s true Jim had some integrity. I don’t even think Jack would go for this. The current people have no loyalty to anything other than themselves.
Jim Young would’ve been told by the big institutional shareholders to bend over and he would’ve said no and left before destroying UP and employee livelihoods. I wonder how Lance and Jimbo “Venom” Vena can look at themselves in the mirror?
