Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Guess HR might be a bit off with management.. ouch! This sort of boo seems expensive for such lack of unsupervised management.

I agree.. it is outstanding how things are being managed in this company! Leaving open doors for lawsuits of this amount.. we all know management is a joke and it needs to be cut down and replaced with actual professionals instead of having the current managers well so called managers keep on screwing up the company. There so many ethical professionals out there, that would help restructure this company and probably some employees that previously were let go by these ignorant management teams, for all the wrong reasons that would’ve helped improve this company with valuable ideas due to their commitment and morals. Such a shame they let managers and project managers get this far with fooling around with company numbers and reports.

The whole ACS model used to be there are plenty of potential client we haven't upset yet, if you lose one we'll win another to replace it. The 18 months I worked in ITO was interesting. Constantly losing clients due to contract performance issues, constantly winning new contracts because we were low bidder.

The transportation business in Conduent is equally messy. They have had a lot of issues with the red light contracts (inconsistencies, errors, etc.), and a lot of bad press over how parking contracts are handled. I'd expect more bad press as they continue to clean up the mess of a company that served as the Blodgett's personal piggy bank for so long. Or I'd expect them to shed more businesses until there's nothing left.

Thank you for clarifying.. they seem to be doing so well nowadays on the news.. it kinda caught me by surprise with this tech powerhouse implementation. Guess this can be the cause of that bad management in the company. This situation is just so out of control... it’s scary to see no one had controlled anything for so long..

Xerox dodged a bullet here. Texas was coming after xrx with a 2 billion $ claim.

Conduent pays the bill. Though I suspect xrx spent millions defending.

I wonder how much xrx has spent in legal fees this past year. Millions defending Fuji deal from Icahn. Millions reimbursing Icahn legal fees when they lost. Millions then spent the opposite direction fending off Fuji.
