Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Lost respect

I no longer respect any decisions made by Lowes.

Throughout my career I’ve been mentored by those who taught me that you can question decisions made by others but you shouldn’t question their motivations. The idea being that they make decisions, good or bad, in their perception of what is the best thing for the company.

The reason I am leaving now is that I’ve come to believe the motivations of our corporate office are not the best interest of our company. They are in it to line their own pockets. They are without question motivated by greed alone. They care nothing for our customers or employees. They don’t care about investors either and it is only incidentally that our stockholders benefit from the actions of our c level executives.

Look at the fruits of managements actions for examples of greed based decision making.

You’ll be doing a lot of cart pushing in the coming months. Good luck with that.

"UMMMM you do realize to "line their own pockets" they must first do whats right for the company and make it more profitable right??? This is why you're pushing carts at 40 years old. Glad you are leaving, it is whiny little people like you who are dragging the company down. If you think retail is greener on the other side well think again. Nobody owes you anything"

You've obviously never heard of Eddie Lampert and Sears/Kmart. Look 'em up and educate yourself.

STFU.

I used big words last time to show how stupid you are. I guess you couldn’t understand as a result.

Can you post your address for us? That way we can send you some Econ 101 books for you to review.

Look - I can't stand what Lowes has done to the stores, myself and my fellow employees, but I can't believe that their motivation is to line their own pockets.

I just think they were given a job to do by the investors and they are doing that. How many times have you been given a task to do by your boss and you do it only because that is what your bosses want you to do.

Yes, I believe they care about people, but are not in a position to do that.

We are all in the same boat, but some of us are just closer to the top deck.

Gonna be hard to sue them and win since they have all that money they stole from us. Might be best to go the insider trading whistleblower route because that’s gonna be a thing soon.
