Its OFFICIAL only 5 weeks of severance instead of one week for every year. This company is taking away everything!

If this is true that is horrible for the long term partners that are still there such MTL or comp shopper positions. I guess at that point I would take what I can get and get the heck out. I know my position will be gone soon, it's not worth the stress anymore.
I was part of the back room associate restructure. Took my many years of severance and left. Glad I did. I spoke with an old friend of mine and I was told he is getting the regular severance a week for every year. The policy may change concerning it but by the time it does they will have eliminated all the positions that most long term associates held anyway.

At this point I was going to say something but really in the end why say anything it is what it is, I'm a 21 yr associate really knowing cares about any of us. I do however want to to say to the newer associates,please don't make this company your career and never ever believe what upper management tells you they will take take and then take more from you. Promises that are lies or is it that they are so brainwashed from this company almost like a cult if you think about it. Just sad that this is what we have become...

Current severance policy hasn’t been updated since 2017. All good there. I wonder if any PTCs know what their severance is currently or is your GM blowing you off at the moment. They can find out. Also PTC GM gave them that password back for their login? Can’t trust this company. The severance policy could be true or could be b---s---. Either way can’t trust them.
We’re PTC let go before end of year ? Did this new severance start this year ? Or is it to be announced ?

Just check the severance policy and see if it changed. I check it on the weekly lately
