It all depends on what you call "wireline"
Am I the only one that realizes 5G is complete trash compared to FTTP. Don’t get me wrong, 5G is good for mobility just terrible for home service. There’s no sellin of wireline until way after the next contract.
We have to extend the cable so that a Xbox will reach the new pole.....4 workers in the entire box! The plant has been neglected for so long that most of out customers have gone to comcast.
Everyone knows aug 2023 is it. The world wont even have wired anything by then. If you're lucky you'll have the magic number 75 by then at the very least
New Company would have to honor the contract . Pension also , unless that got sent to an insurance company .

What happens with contract if they sell off? This is a serious question, as I don’t know the answer.
The contract extension eliminated the shadow of uncertainty(union strike) while they try to sell it off.
