Lowe’s as a corporation does not care about you

Interesting speech, but let’s not forget, at the end of the day/heat of the moment, humans by nature only look out for themselves. We are a very selfish species that ultimately doesn’t care about others.

We pretend to play nice/act as part of a team, but is there one person at the store that would give up their job for another, out of the goodness of their heart? Absolutely not.

We are all aboard this sinking ship together and while we can pretend that your employees matter, if there is one spot left on that life boat, are you going to give it to anyone else or keep it for yourself?

The sooner you realize that humans are creatures of greed (at all levels), the sooner you can begin to take the proper strategy required to better yourself, instead of constantly being walked on by others. This applies to all facets of life, not just your job.

Lowe’s as a corporation does not care about you. Your managers do not care about you. The CSA in lumber that you consider a friend and love to talk negatively about Lowe’s with Does Not care about you! Many members of your family and close friends ultimately do not care about you.

So with that said, try and band together as much as possible, but when push comes to shove, we are all standing alone regardless of how many people are around us.

If you want to see true togetherness, look to nature! A wolf will kill or be killed in the process when it comes to protecting their own. Humans are not ready for that nor are most capable of that.

If this was my original post and not a repost from @XKkxZDN-uwf , maybe a wouldn't have put it so directly, but basically the OP is right 100%.

As a former LP. And have been screwed over by Lowes. I understand the animosity. There are several people that have gained my respect in my store after 13 yrs They’ are hard working people that care about what they do.... not about company or shares.. they love what they do.. and this is the saddest part of all this.

I don’t think Lowes knows what the regular consumer power has... their all about stocks and shares and what f---ing not. All the termed employees stand up.. we are the customers now. Make your voice heard. No clause in the severance sais we don’t have freedom of speech.

Can’t even begin how true this statement is. Fired a year ago, after 12 yrs of service. Great audit scores and praises from my managers. Was hurt unrelated to work, but still came in and did my job, received a comidation to do my duties, but they never obided by it. One wrong word to my manager about it.. and 3 months later after a demotion I was terminated...

There is no way to unite, stop lying to yourself. Humans know nothing of unity or loyalty. Try and rally the troops but know this, the moment you walk away that very same employee is bad mouthing you to the next associate that crosses their path. Not a single associate in the store is willing to give up their job for your pledge of unity.

Every associate at Lowe’s is there to collect a paycheck, not to care for their coworkers or fight injustice.

My best advice is to use others before they can use you! Play the game but remain in control at all times. It’s very easy to do once you realize how truly simple humans are.
