You owe yours employees (what you have left), an explanation. You layoff HR, MST, store Managers to name a few. Have you seen the stock price? Proud of this Jeff and Hal......oh, that's right, Hall dumped a million plus in our Stock in September/November.....looks like he "believes". You are driving this company into the ground!

I went into my local macys this weekend and was ashamed to say l worked for this company. Dirty and clothes all over no merchandise on fixtures and escalators down since before Christmas.
Associates poorly dressed.
Where is the magic of Macys? I believe it is gone as you continue to try and cut costs where it is needed most.
Agree with stale merchandise, dilapidated stores comment......I might also add, DIRTY too. Look at the counters, fixtures, and floors, and bathrooms (and fitting rooms). There is a layer of dust and dust bunnies everywhere. Employees do not have time to clean too.
And I might add, when a company gets caught up in the politically correct climate, to try to appear as a shining beacon for acceptance and/or promotion of everything under the sun, the result is you end up offending a large portion of your customer base.
From an investor viewpoint, Macy's has nothing unique to offer its customer. Stale merchandise, dilapidated stores. Q4 earnings release next week will drive the stock even lower. Jeff Gennette and Harry Lawton do not seem to grasp what it is going to take to turn this company around. My advice, Sell this stock.
