Yep, we got our lunch. Management did NOT want people filling their plates and/or going back for seconds so servers were used for each item (one for the pulled chicken, pork, or veggi-burger (for the Indians) ) , another for beans, coles; and one to give you just one 2 1/2 in cookie thin enough to crumble. Oh, you get to take one bag of chips under their watchful eyes. Now get back to work your free 15 % OT benefit.

Milton is the man!
Every year we do the math. How much would it cost to allow everyone whatever they wanted? Never more than a couple of hundred bucks extra to spread a little goodwill. That's just not the way management thinks anymore.
Be thankful you got a lunch. Not all sites participate in such activities.

Maybe they should have bought extra to be sure everyone got enough.
