Hump still operating but supposed to be shut down mid march. Dowty r----ders ripped out of bowl preparing for flat switching. A few east end yard rco jobs to remain but much of the work done on west end with conventional 3 man crews. Car department cut deep. Big cuts at roundhouse and hostlers to be eliminated. DTO to leave when the downsizing is complete...

Actually they’re using the hump, just not the same way, from what I’ve gathered they are kicking cars in the bowl and pulling from the other side. And departure and receiving are switching sides. Please someone correct me if I’m wrong. There’s enough misinformation on here, I don’t want to add to it

On top of the big layoffs that happened, went from 9 originating trains to a measly 3 per day. That only means one thing, MORE LAYOFFS.

Oh, and the hump has been shutdown.
