I believe the exact statement was "it's not safe", not "I'm scared". BO also mentioned that he did not have an emergency button in his office . Shortly thereafter, security guards were installed on the 7th floor at the Norwalk HQ . There was no security guards at the previous HQ location or at the current location until then ( I believe the original post referred to bldg security guards, not bodyguards that accompany CEOs when they go offsite - every CEOs use bodyguards during offsite visits) . BO probably realizes that the current level of layoffs combined with a drastically reduced severance package is pushing the envelope and increasing the risk level for him and Johnny Vas---ne. Please don't resort to violence. If you're let go, keep your dignity and move on. Even better, start looking now.

If the Bill O. Statement really happened; then that is an indication of the level of intelligence of him and executives. Webster is a 5 1/2 hour drive; but your decisions have impacted many much closer. Very naive to worry about employees doing harm from a specific town and not all the other thousands who have been impacted by you filling your pockets at the expense of Xerox employee jobs.

Is this statement really an example of an executive who’s energy is focused on building Xerox into a “Technology Powerhouse”.

IMHO: All of the Executives are scrambling to satisfy Icon, fill their pockets and keep their jobs until Xerox is gone.

It’s Icahn who should really be concerned Johnny is just doing what Icky is directing him to, not sure Johnny can really think for himself. Norwalk staff is just a mouth piece for Icky.

When Anne M visited Dallas in the early 2000's she had a security detail with her. Not sure whether it was brought in just for the Dallas visit, or if it was one she brought from Norwalk.

Regarding the statement about former CEO's not having security guards, when Paul Allaire was CEO he visited the annual Business Improvement Ideas competition in the late '90's, held at the Rochester Convention Center. He had body guards at that event, and I understand routinely had them. Not sure about Anne or Ursula. As an aside, Mr. Allaire passed away on Saturday, 2/23. While I did not care for his management style or decisions, I'm sorry for his family.

Who heard the quote about them being nervous? Is this first hand or how did that get passed down? Thats some interesting news and I am curious because it says a lot about the state of the company.

Ur right.. that’s probably our workforce keeps moving oversees.. with all these cutts. No way to stop it from happening they just don’t care about The Who or how the job gets done regardless of showing the effects it has caused for this company to sustain these projects.

The President who allowed illegal immigrants to work at his clubs? I doubt Trump cares at all.

I don’t think our president would be at all happy knowing how local jobs are being taken away for cheap workforce externally. He has been fighting for workforce to come back to the states. If only the truth would come out to the right people.

Seems offshore cheap labor has proven to be their primal choice, they don’t seem to be impacted as much as locally. Regardless of their lack of performance. Including managers.

Give little Johnny a break - he clearly got his tail beat in regularly in High School so no doubt he is experiencing some sort of PTSD like flashback. Perhaps a GoFundMe page could be created to buy him some diapers in case he pee-pees himself. ;)

Xerox has been in cost cutting mode for many years given market conditions (i. e. Print volume declines) but prior mgt teams had enough courage to make difficult decisions in a respectful manner and without hiding behind security guards. Small b**ls indeed...
