Thoughts on BYOD

I am a manager and have had BYOD for 7 years since it came out. If they had access to anything on my phone I would have been fired 100 times. I have sent R rated pics, looked at p--n and done what ever I wanted with my phone. They Can only view what you do inside their apps. Their apps can’t access the rest of your phone. Read the fine print
If the FBI can’t get into iPhones security how can Sams.
I have been told they can see your texts and emails if you install it. Because of that, I keep it on a separate phone only used for work.
I enjoy the program. Use the Club's wifi. No one said you need to use your data. It is an extremely convenient way to help members and it is the future of the company. Also, this method is extremely cheaper than TC70s big time
Unless they are going to partial payment for my phone bill, I won't install it.
I had mine out the other day trying to scan something and it just started taking pictures. Shouldn't have given them access.
If this company expects people to use their personal phones for work, then they need to pay the associates a stipend for that use. I do not carry my phone on the floor nor do I plan to anytime soon.
It gives the company access to information and location on your phone... no thanks.
My phone does some really weird stuff now that I have added BOYD
Would be better if it had all the same apps so you could do more since they run so much smoother on your own device. So you still need a company issues handheld depending on your position. I have to still use both.
I like it very easy to use and faster then the handhelds
Big fat NOPE...
