Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

Mark Reuss has "gasoline running through his veins"

but the future is electric. Isn't this an oxymoron? Also Mary needs to go.Styock price is no better then the IPO and market share is shinking.

Reuss will lead to another ignition switch type debacle unless the plan to dumb down GM and rely on other companies is fully realized.

Does anyone think he will be CEO and if so what will change if he was?

Mary takes the blame herself. She is the first of her line, female, to commit acts that are nothing short of treason against this country. She is the first woman automotive CEO, that will be remembered for her actions.

Advocates against, never support their products.

I agree. Barra has done nothing for GM's shareholder and has treated GM employees shamefully. After bankruptcy, we were told the CEO and the Chairman of the Board should NEVER be the same person. It leads to a rubber stamp board. It didn't take long for Barra to assume both roles. This is history repeating itself.

Mark Reuss is in a position where he has to toe the party line, so to speak. He does have gasoline coursing through his veins and it probably takes all the strength he has to keep it together while the rest of the leadership virtue signals the company into oblivion - banking the company’s future success on globalization (i.e. kowtowing to China) and the pursuit of selling carbon tax credits. Not a car guy’s dream job. I’m surprised he hasn’t quit already. The pay and bennies must be fantastic.
