You as an employee have and have always had the option to go seek employment elsewhere, believe it or not there are companies other than u.p.
That being said you as an employee of u.p. have the opportunity or had to further your education through there tuition matching program thus making yourself more valuable to other careers outside of u.p. Being proactive might be your best course of action, dont waste your time blaming the coo, ceo, for your misfortunes, you are the one in control of your life.
