Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

I really wish our management talked to us

All this speculating, worrying, stressing... All of it could be avoided with some transparency from our management.

Morale is as low as it has ever been because people don't know what's going on. It's affecting productivity, among other things.

But I guess leadership doesn't really care about the lowly employees, I guess.

Your management team knows as much as you do! They call the CM the night before he is sworn to secrecy and can not tell his assistance otherwise he risks being fired. We literally don not know until minutes before sh-- hits the fan.

GMM here. We're nervous about our jobs too! We don't know what's coming until it hits.

They will get rid of you with no warning or maybe a meeting invite, no love, big business is all. I hate this place.

You may not know what's about to happen, but you do follow you silly script. You have to try and make us think everything is ok, and no changes are coming. It's crazy how we can know positions are going away, and we all see the signs, but management pretends they see nothing.

As a ASM, we know as much as hourlys and tend not to know until about 5 mins before everyone does.
