How has the typical day of a BNY employee changed due to the current scenario?

For all you know BNY may be acquired by Dunkin and we can bake cookies and donuts on the side..and management can eat and taste them sipping their lattes

Typical day...be told by senior management that cutting based at home staff with 15 + years of experience (with no sub package) is a good thing. That’s right treating people with kids and family like trash is a good thing...just unethical. Greed.

I received an email today saying that they want our input on what BNYN can do to improve the on-site cafeteria. What a joke...

On the bright side: today we got email that they want to inprove our Cafe. And I thought, you’ve got to be kidding. Unless they want to install a psychologist to dispense free advice, or a chapel where we can pray.

It seems that internal systems are breaking down. I called the HR Hotline today, but they could not find anyone to answer my question. They said to use intranet MyHR to find an answer, but the link wouldn’t work. All I could think was, did the people who knew or fixed these things just get laid off.

Super anxiety. Seriously, we have no idea who is NEXT to lose their job. We’ve seen such valuable and productive employees let go, we cannot make sense of the company’s goal. So there is a preoccupation with the dire situation, very low morale and probably much less work getting done.

And we are FORCED to spend more time in the office, and cannot escape the atmosphere of doom, even if working from home would have been a more productive environment.

I am amazed that more people aren’t leaving to preserve their self respect and their sanity. Nothing makes any sense any more.

It has become very difficult to have a positive attitude. Watching good people walk out the door leaving others behind who are now looking to get out. Charlie has hurt us badly and with the departure of Monique, which is clearly a statement of protest against Charlie and his crazed policies, we are in trouble. Everyone should be contacting the board, they need to hear from every employee if we hope to see Charlie shown the door.
