Wow. Just wow. When I received the email today about Monique, I just sat at my desk for a few moments and took it all in. The company is obviously going down a path that she no longer wants any part of and it speaks volumes. Thankfully, I had two companies in the area reach out to me today for interviews! With any luck, my timevat BNYM will be coming to an end soon. I'm in Massachusetts and we're supposed to get a decent amount of snow overnight tonight. Of course they banned work from home, so everyone has been told to make it into the office, or else.

We all love Monique she firmly decided to move on and not be included in the circus of the Exec Mgmt.. Hats off to the working Gal !
PS : if there are any jobs in Amex please let us know Monique , you know where to catch the fish from wink wink
This organization is now the worst place to want to work. Stay away. It’s going to be over soon. It used to be decent, thanks to the great humans who are humble and worked hard; they had real lives. No, not the overpaid executives who mainly “travel” and show up to meetings pretending to know what they’re doing but it’s really the behind the scenes staff who makes that disgusting company that’s more of a creepy world barely go round
What's ironic is Monique has a 1 month notice period as Head of HR and other employees have 2 and 3 month notice periods , wow how fair is BNY !
She could have either supported it and didn’t want to stay for the mess at the end, or left in protest.
Of course, maybe she just got a better job.
Fyi...wfh is allowed in bad weather. Looks like your boss is sending the wrong message that you come in "or else"
Is the head of investor relations also moved ?
Monique could not work from home so she left :)
:D
I'm in MA too! I just applied for a job at Blue Cross Blue Shield. They allow WFH & really use it as a selling point! Of course work from home hinges on productivity and can be revoked at any point, but really, for anyone who does what they're supposed to do, work from home is an entirely reasonable option in this day and age. Good luck on your job search, hopefully both of us will be working at new companies soon!
It’s almost comical. Today’s dog and pony show was cute “what’s that? job security!? Who here is concerned about job security?!” Lady, your mother clearly was never concerned about it but this entire room (and the families) are concerned. Wipe that smile off. It’s a shame
