This hasn't reached my club yet but a set schedule would make my life easier working FT and having a PT side job.

So

We all had to fill out new availability forms and I had to request what two days we preferred off and what shifts we wanted to work our club based on seniority the front end shifts are different than the merchandiser shifts.

There's only two shifts for full-timers upfront 6 to 230 or a 1:30 to 10.. part timer 9-1..1-5 or 5-9.

Part-timers could also work 6 to 2 or the 1:30 to 10 shift if they were available.

So we have full time front associates off sun and money then work 6-2 Tuesday through Saturday

The good thing is you know what your working in 3 months from now. That's your schedule

You work one of two shifts (5am to 1:30pm or 4am to 12:30 Pm) or (1:30pm to 10 pm or 3pm to 11:30 PM). Depending on your gm's preference for start times. Any manager that tells you All opening or closing along with same days off every week is lying to make it seem better than what it is. Managers will change it to suit the needs of the store and do not care if you close the night before and open the next day. So prepare yourself.
