Before the closings were announced, did you have any indications that it might be coming? Or did it come as a total surprise?
I'm just trying to figure out if there is a way to predict ahead that a certain location is slated for closing, so that I can act in time and not after the fact.

Got your facts straight. All I am saying is there are T W O(2) sites, thelayoff.com>verizon communications, and the other thelayoff.com>verizon wireless. Why is it so hard for you and the other wireless employees to understand this? If you are able to figure this out, please look at the other one. You dont see us commenting on the wireless board. Cant you show the same courtesy?
Just like their tech and processes the wireline people like to live in the past and forget the Verizon brought the rest of the wireless from vodaphone

I think it's a losing battle, union jerkwads cant seem to figure it out..virezon and verizon wireless are the same company now and the wireless website was created before the merger. But neither are for lazy union slobs who sit in their bucket trucks and surf the web all day instead of working. After all, this is a LAYOFF site and entitled union bums don't get laid off ever. So why be here? Oh yeah, too much free time and they hate their meaningless lives so they have to troll others.
Where is the union troll site? Is it www.fatunionslob.com? Or www.lazylinemen.com?
