I'm moving to my own private Idaho to drink beer and smoke ciggy butts in peace. I will drive a 1970 GMC truck with the tried and true 350 V8.
I've been saying since bankruptcy GM will move to China. China already has all of Chevy engineering (except trucks) People are still being walked out at AVD in Warren Tech Center as of yesterday.
You will continue to see GM cutting employees far beyind the numbers that made the news. They keep firing 50-60 here, 80 there, so it flies under the media radar. GM has eliminated entire departments with no contingency plans to cover the gap. Weeks later, they claim they “have a plan” yet no one knows what it is. Work is not getting done. Things continue to be in chaos. Why all this urgency to get rid of people before there is a any backup plan? Something is very wrong at GM. People are right to be concerned.
No maybe about it , China runs GM. If you do a little research it's overwhelming 😞 I also read this trade war Tiff is hurting China's economy. What about our economy? "DO NOT SELL YOUR HOME" don't worry Mr Trump I'll just loose it to foreclosure instead. Doesn't anyone notice how Ford and FCA are handing this? Ford is silent like a typhoon class sub and FCA is bringing jobs to the city of Detroit and product all while GM bails on America. I think I'll defect to another auto OEM. Ford is investigating in the train station in Detroit all while Marry and her side kick CFO try and play Media darlings and down play the fact , gee we F---ed up , I'm sure interview with Opera and a spot on the voice is coming soon along with a hugg fest with Hillary Clinton , perhaps a little dance with Ellen too 🤮
It's been a few weeks since I saw the term "Chinese overlords" on this board but maybe GM is run by our Chinese overlords.
Now Pontiac metal across the street from racing is laying off almost 80 90 or so people , GM just put alot of money into this facility last year! WTF is going on here ? Yes I realize it's a feeder plant. So the plan is to put Americans out of work !? So much for working on the local economy. Who actually runs GM ?
