Memo is out from head cheese, for Canada geozone that Q 2 furloug is back and suspension of rrsp for all employees across the board for 3 months. Makes you wonder what they up to now. eh!!!!!

The current layoffs and cuts to matching Rrsp and furloughs is just another round of Weatherford trying to create another smoke and mirrors show for 1st quarter earnings 2019 because based on current conditions in the energy sector times are still not great and there’s no way they should be close to meeting the streets estimates. They did the same thing 4th quarter 2018 to brag they got to free cash flow lay people off cuts on everything close shops sell off buildings etc. Then after the dust settles the managers and sales get bonuses. That’s how things work at Weatherford.
With regards to getting bonuses to stay on is totally true and the managers and sales are still getting bonuses and commissions. Laying the workers off who actually make the company money while management keeps telling the workers everything is going to be ok and we’re on the right track and the transformation is working. All this to ensure the bottom rung of the Weatherford employees continue to work like good little soldiers so that the corrupt management of Weatherford continue to line their own pockets. I know times are tough but if you are one of the workers in this sh-- hole company and have opportunity to leave do so. They can’t afford to pay their vendors in a timely manner but they still spend like drunken sailors well eventually the ship will sink.
its a popularity contest in canada if you are one of DR or RL friends then you get the good jobs and the rest of us get sqwat . look at all the guys in jobs that dont deserve them if they tried. heard from 2 people lots of guys got a huge chunk of money to stay working and not quit plus they already get the bonus . can anyone tell me if this is true??? people want to know why they can give out money when we all get f****d on furlow and savings matching all the dimwits will have new suites to wear now

If you haven’t figured out by now that you are only a number with Weatherford you must have been sleeping. No chance of any advancement for a loyal hard working employee with many years under their belt. Instead they will promote an individual OR hire from the outside based on what their name is and who likes them. Very unethical and political company. Hopefully everyone who is still employed by these clowns find great jobs elsewhere!!!
Canada. They say their closing shops a year ago, oh wait.... now their just moving shops. Selling everything they can so they have no equipment to use.Too many useless managers that they should get rid of. Need a job.... oh I'll make one up for you, here your now a manager! lmao
