We are a dinosaur company with outdated practices as it is, but looks like these layoffs where the last straw, for many folks. Most of the guys in my group are sending job applications and interviewing with other companies, even though they survived these layoffs. Is that the general opinion throughout the company?

I really pity the current and laid off employees. I knew we are sinking so I am outta here !
Time to get outta here and swipe my Amex card.. I'm going shopping oh yeah and send me your resumes if you wanna get the hell out of this sink hole..
Love,
Monique
Wow...I've really torn this place to shreds in less than two years' time, haven't I? I hope no one tells The Board on me.

Yes the Joker takes BNY seriously lol WHY SO SERIOUS ?
I'm sticking around for now only because I'm learning some new skills this year that would allow me to apply to better jobs that are closer to home. From what I see, a 20% increase is quite possible.
Now that WFH is back, I'm less inclined to jump ship right away. We do have people who are hoping to get laid off with a package, but they won't leave without one - most of them have at least 20 years with the company.
Even dinosaurs got extinct eventually. enough said ..
Apparently Charlie just did an about face on WFH, so no. The CEO is a clueless dumb--s who shoots first and thinks later. :'D
2 people in my office gave their notice today. Both got better jobs very quickly. Good time to look for a new job I would say! They both look so happy! Going to send my resume all over today!
Anyone i spoke to or overheard the chatter in the office, is p-ss-d off. This is clearly a tactic to have people leave the company on their own so they don't have to pay.
A paycheck. Nothing more nothing less.
