Serv U posted a job opening. Had 7 applicants from Mondelez apply! Haha!! Got a good one from us! Was shocked to see all the people that applied! Gonna get ugly real fast!!

There sure seems to be a lot more “evidence” of a departure from dsd, thank business as usual! At least for those of us paying attention! If the fear of losing your job makes ignoring all the red flags, so be it! It’s aboit as obvious as it gets! Call it theory if you want, but for some the only reality will come when the call with HR occurs! Others prefer to take charge of their lives.

My FT merchandiser told me this week they are leaving! Writing is on the wall they said and they’d rather leave when they have another offer than wait until they get let go and then have to scramble! So smart!

GS is a lying sack of $hit, sorry! He can say all he wants, the decision isn’t up to him! 3 years ago he told the region jobs were safe, ignore rumors, blah blah blah....three months later 1/3 sales force was let go. He can say all he wants to! Maybe 2020 is when dsd will end, they certainly know the timeline but won’t share!! Bottom line is dsd is being phased out by retailers! Not fake news! Fact! Believe what you want but listening to GS is sad, he’s got a million reasons to want to lie, and doesn’t care about anyone other than himself! Retailers aren’t investing millions into CAO to continue to pay for dsd.

Start with the, “they wouldn’t lie to us comments”. They have lied for years, why would this be any different?

The growth comment is a statement made to excite shareholders, only consumers can make that happen! Remember Vea, the best bet? Can you find it on your shelves now?

And even if we did grow, it ain’t here and has no effect on dsd! Especially since Mondelez isn’t the driving force behind phasing out dsd! Retailers are!

Turnover has always been high!! Not surprised! Doesn't mean we're exiting DSD. I doubt if it happens this year or anytime soon. We will be here for a while! No layoffs GS told me. They wouldn't lie to us.

It does seem that there are a whole lot of people that won’t get it, till it bites them in the a$$! For those that keep saying nothings happening......way too many indicators out there to continue to ignore. Denial won’t change the outcome. Pay closer attention!! The turnover rate is about to climb, get out while the getting is good!! I myself am actively looking for a new job, even with a decent severance I’d rather have the stability of an income.

The point is NOT to tell you if you haven’t figured that’s our yet! Organization wants all to believe everything is good and you are sooo valuable!! They are working hard to keep the people in place so when the ultimate announcement is made, and people quit, they have a base to work with. And of course all the mo--ns wearing the “hiring now” buttons. That’s embarrassing! You are being played to the core!!! We have lost PT people like crazy here, getting out while it’s easier to find a job. Tend to settle for less when you have your back against the wall!! Very smart move for people who rely on Mondelez to support a family!! Or pay rent, or car, or anything! Whether it’s 3,6, or 9 months down the road, it’s coming!
