Protecting for the Downside

So what preparations are you all making for the inevitable if it happens to you? Have you emptied out your desks/cubes (5S'ed everything)? Any spending habit changes? Update resumes? Looking online for jobs yet? Etc Etc

Any resume tips?

Only "Real" resume I'v ever worked on was the one that got me this job, and that was right out of college, in the middle of updating it

No job opportunities but have finances in order. (Enough to live a year jobless). My family saw this coming a mile away and prepared for it.

I've got my finances in order and several job opportunities available. I've already made up my mind I'm leaving GM. I'm only sticking around in hopes of severance pay.

I've been with GM 19 years. I'm done being treated like a disposable commodity.
