Truthfully don't worry. You're surrounded by dozens upon dozens of tech companies. Opportunities are endless. Don't think GM is your final stop.

I would say ATL is the same way. There are a ton of companies here as well as consulting positions too.
Phoenix also. Chandler is becoming quite the hub for technology.
It's healthy now, tons of jobs. But, things can turn around quickly - many are predicting a recession very soon. I am not saying it'll happen, yet it's possible.
