"Construction people were seen installing signs that read "Work Sets You Free" at multiple BNY Mellon offices this week. Rumors of employees standing in lines, being directed 'left' or 'right' based on age, salary level, or 'perceived value' (or combination thereof) come from multiple sources. Those in the unfortunate line are sent to HR for "immediate liquidation", while others will be worked until their contributions are deemed 'below expectations', or they fall down from the weight of work placed upon them. Those fortunate enough to be given 'special jobs' in the camp hope to hold out until the company is purchased by an invading force, they escape to new company, or the regime collapses from its own weight."
(I do not work for BNY Mellon, and this is satire! Best of luck to all of you.)
