Just wondering, if anybody who was previously laid off by General Motors had refused severance and decided to sue the company instead? And if they did, how did it end?

Today is not 2008. Today GM is making money hand over fist.
thats why legal reviews the list, they pull out the ones they think actually have a lawsuit. So i'm sure if you're laid off you would lose most likely.
Yes, I was laid off in 2008, refused the severance, sued GM, and won. I was awarded $50K in damages, lawyers fees, and 3 years pay. I never saw a dime as it all got washed out in the bankruptcy. Take the severance and don't play any games.
Sue them for what? What possible case can you provide? Take the severance, say thank you and move on.
