I’m hearing on the floor some of our employees making plans for other employment, not just low also higher seniority as well! Southern region, good luck to all of y’all leaving!

No one's is leaving. You know why? Because we're all lazy!!!!!!!!!!! Haha hahaha!!!!!
10 years, 5, 1, even a month is no longer guaranteed employment at Union Pacific anymore.
Would be ignorant to voluntarily leave with 20 years in....10 more years for the full retirement!!!! Just ignore the noise, do your job and go home...WASH RINSE REPEAT....time will fly by
Applied at 6 jobs today.....done with this place! I'm assuming they are holding out on management cuts until after bonus time now since so many people are saying they are quitting once they get a bonus.
Unfortunately, the cuts are deep and now all with high seniority will have to work again and quit crying when a supervisor asks you to dump the trash!
Almost 20 years in and i have already put in apps. Don't need this headache anymore. Yes, some workers with seniority have had a laxed work ethic over the years, but plenty have kept a solid one. Some people just want to work and make a living without the garbage. Plus seniority isn't worth as much anymore with so many brothers and sisters losing their jobs. Many friends work outside the railroad and seem to live good lives without UP.
Knowbody is not leaving lmao.. these guys wouldn't make it on the outside having to actually work for a living. I doubt that they give up all that butt time and playing games on phone muchless seniority and benefits.
