401k match

I just got word today that our 401k match is coming back with Eddie's new money making go forward plan. Now the results are starting to show. Very happy here! There is talk of higher pay too, as the future gets better. This should have happened a long time ago for the better.

Even without a match, a 401K is generally a good way to save money for retirement, tax-deferred.

One pill makes you larger

One pill makes you small

There may indeed be a 401(K). But it doesn't mean there has to EVER be any kind of match. It would just be another IRA that has direct contributions from your paycheck. So be careful about hearing that there will be a 401(K) vs. there will be a 401(K) with guaranteed Match.

They may even say something like "once we are profitable, and that's real real soon if our transformation goes as planned, there will be a great and grandiose Match". But I hesitate to comment on "once we a profitable"

I'm guessing the OP ingests quite a bit of controlled substances. "I'll have what she's having."

The New company will match your 401k contributions with SYWR points.

Twice nothing is still nothing. We may even move to a 403(b).

You heard wrong. There is a 401 k walkathon around the HE campus.

Obviously the OP has not read the complete Prime Clerk Docket 1730 because what he/she or management is saying is not true.

Eddie has not even funded the pension plan now, so there is no way he is going to match a 401K. And you are correct about talk of higher pay, we have all been telling you that, just not at SHLD.

It is very simple. ESL money will flow for a very short time, yes, but customer money will not come into the company anymore. Word is out on the street (which is where it matters) that Sears Holdings is NOT the place to shop. It is a laughing stock of retail. The only clientele for the co. now are illegal immigrants needing cheap goods and western union services and the elderly that still remember sears in its prime. Look around.

And then the OP's alarm clock went off and he/she woke up and should have realized it was just a dream.

ESL will probably match your contributions ONLY if those contributions are invested in ESL’s holdings. That way you’ll be helping fund your own paycheck.

The OP may actually be right to some level. We just heard in service on Fri that 401k match is to return 3/1/19. From management. I'll believe it when I see it.

Here's how that might work-

You put in up 3% of your pay ; it gets soaked in gas, and it gets a lit match put to it .

There's your match .
