Trolls on this site told me to “Hit Send” like 2 years ago, our branch just broke ground to expand our yard for the fleet of new tractors AND trailers that are coming this spring to better our DSD service. So, to all you Einstein’s on here, should I hit send now? Or wait another 5-10 years.

Why are you so concerned about Nabisco. Nabisco is 70 percent of isle. GOld fish is four Feet..
I feel worse for the PF person than us. You guys are independent operators. When they get rid of us at least we won't have any trucks to sell off. Good luck. Thanks for sharing your story. What will happen is they'll run you out of business. Major chains will go warehouse. All you'll have left is convenient stores. Good luck with that PF contract person. Also what happens if and when Campbell's sells y'all off?? Contract will be null and void. Rude awakening coming for anyone dsd. I've been told if your not scanned based you will be eliminated.
It will cost your company 25k to eliminate your position, and you’ll maybe see 60% of that amount.
It would cost PF 400k to buy out my route. I have a contract, you don’t.

To the negative ones who think DSD is dead at Nabisco any day now—why do you stick around if it’s a sinking ship? As someone who has friends that work for Nabisco I know that your severance won’t get you very far. 6 months pay is the best you’ll get, and taxes will knock out close to 40% from what the Keebler reps told me. So you’re hanging on with that great attitude of yours for what, 15k after taxes? Why??? You’ll be a lot happier if you leave. If you’re wrong and DSD lives longer than you are banking on it’s gotta be a miserable existence. Come join PF!
And Amazon is $2000 a share. Share price comparisons mean nothing. Look at the fundamentals, starting with P/E. Nestle is mid 30’s, Mondelez is mid 20’s if not less.
Fundamentals are strong for Mondelez right now. Who knows what will happen by 2021.

Last I looked nestle stock price is around 95. Mondelez is around 50!! Free labor?? Nothing is free!! Price is added into the cost of the products. Dsd is not free labor!! Retailers are taking dsd back one vendor at a time and we're next.

DSD will be alive and well into 2021 at a minimum at Mondelez. Way too much sales momentum and share growth to change directions now.
CAO is customer driven. If that’s working for The Big W and Kroger than they have no incentive to push a vendor out. Free labor + control of inventory=WINNING.
What id watch out for is if/when sales and shares drop. That’s when Mondelez will have an incentive to make a change. Dirk may be committed to DSD, but if the company’s sales slip he will be gone and someone new will take over and will go for the growth by cutting formula.
And for all of you comparing Mondelez to Kellogg’s you may want to consider how small Kellogg’s snacks business is in comparison. And also check out Kellogg’s financials. They made the switch to warehouse out of necessity.

Unless you're one of the lucky one's that they keep. Their won't be many kept. Just a few to go around and take pictures and make sure that store's are in compliance with what's on plan. We are not going anywhere.....just keep up with all ur negative comments that you guys keep saying for the last 2 years on this site. But nothing has changed and we are still working.....it will be the same another 2 years from now.
I know walmart is reducing the hours for dsd and it has happened more since they did a new program less than a year ago.
The “job fairs” are on college campuses.
Pluck them right out of college so they don’t have to pay them much. They work for Mondelez, move through the ranks quickly. Rules don’t apply to them, skip over positions that in the past they had to cycle through. After a couple/few years they move on. Take their experience and move on! Sad but true!! Seen it happen so many times!
They're probably looking for interns most likely. They'll be replacing you. Interns will take photos and make sure that stores are complying with their sales plan. You'll see!! DSD will be ending this year!

Are you aware that there are a lot of other positions within Mondelez, outside of sales? When dsd ends Mondelez won’t fold, there will still be jobs at Mondelez. Quit grasping at straws!! Dsd is ending!

Mondelez is only required by law to provide 60 days notice, don’t expect 61! They will notify employees of the minimum. And BTW, if they lay-off in stages they may not have to tell us! One thing is for sure....dsd drives the cost of goods higher and makes retailers less money! Mondelez is well aware when dsd is ending, they have known for years!
Nobody knows the timeline, don’t be so sure! Dsd is ending and Mondelez isn’t calling the shots!!

Ont thing for sure, they sure aren’t making money with dsd! And since Mondelez isn’t the ones calling the shots on this, retailers (not the so called trolls on here) stand to make more money with eliminating dsd. They sell a lot more in their stores than Mondelez, take a look around next time! Dsd consumes only one of two aisles of the store which has what, 30 aisles? So to your point, no, we are not too big! With thousands of skus that are already warehouse, what’s the additional skus from Mondelez gonna do, not much! They will eliminate a lot of Mondelez skus and only sell fasted moving skus! In other countries, where our growth is, they have 4-5 skus only on entire Oreo family! That’s it! Same thing will happen here. If dsd were a growth strategy, would they begin the restructuring process with the elimination of DDS positions? Probably not! I took you meant, see you in the unemployment line.

It’s sad to see how hard people are trying to spin the reality that’s occurring to try to convince themselves their jobs are safe! Facts are facts, hard to ignore all the red flags! So maybe it’s time to take a quick fact check as to where things are;
WM is CAO
Kroger is CAO in some areas and rolling it out across this country by end of Q1.
Mondelez has closed a number of branches across the county and focusing on mega distribution centers.
A large portion of our product has gone from pack 12 to pack 6, at retailers request.
DDS positions have been eliminated.
New fleet of semis, none of which are smaller box trucks to accommodate smaller format stores, of which there are plenty, where a semi cannot deliver.
Most of these things, if not all, Keebler transitioned through prior to their exit.

West Chester Ohio is doing exactly that! Not surprisingly new Kroger distribution center is down the road. Expanding branch as this will be a mid west distribution center to feed warehouse deliveries. Take a closer look at where these expanded branches are, close to retailers warehouses. Spin that now!

Come on now, how many deliveries do you have that go through the front door? Zero! They are and have been renting box trucks for over a year now, think these smaller stores are disappearing? Targets falling off the map and smaller Kroger where they can’t get straight trucks in? Drivers are being trained in double triples, are those for the front door too? Third party carries will
get product to the branches and our drivers will utilize these double triples to get product from the branches to retailers warehouses and third party suppliers such as SuperValu’s etc.. Closing branches and expanding the regional distribution centers that are strategically placed to serve warehouses. People are really grasping at straws with what they chose to believe! Pathetic!
So, tell us what branch your at. Come on, where are you? Seems to me most branchs have already been closed and assigned a fancy new gravel parking lot. Some without a porta potty and some have been outsourced.
Then why do all the trailers have a liftgates for front door deliveries at stores?
Bingo!!! How many box trucks did they get in the new fleet, try none! Expanding to better service warehouse! All the problems we have uncurred have been a result of the branches servicing too many cities! Now we’re going to expand on that? Been busy with all that Tates that went DSD fool? Kroger warehouse is already labeled and our bins are already assigned, my GM worked there on special assignment and confirmed that Mondelez will indeed be in the warehouse shortly! So Einstein....ask yourself if we really are going to pay sales reps to write orders when our two largest accounts in the country are CAO? A new way to order...OMG! People may have been wrong on the exit date, but they aren’t wrong about the fact that dsd is ending for us! Time will tell! If you have a family to support you may want to open your eyes!
