My gut tells me that my layoff will begin Feb 4th. I’m at the Austin IT “Innovation” center.

Why do you think you'll get a month to sign the severance? I'm guessing theyll ask you to sign it right then, with no "think it over" time.

If lay off is delayed until Feb 4, then Bonus will be included in the severance. Because GM will give you at least a month's notice to sign the severance. So, you will still be an GM employee until Feb 28, the Bonus payout date.

We received an email today from our GM starting ISPs have been pushed until the first week in Feb.

Overseas operations are being hit. GM is talking with some syndicates. In Brazil, if these operations don't become profitable, GM is planning to shutdown operations...
