Day stocking and block scheduling rolling out in three weeks. No more overnights. Receive fresh from 4am-8am. Stock and run freight from receiving 4am-7am. Rest of the day work one pallet at a time from receiving to floor. 9pm-1130pm stock, receive DCs and freezer/cooler.
That’s not it. Block scheduling: 4am-1230 or 3pm-1130 for full timers. Part time shifts only 9-1, 1-5, 4-930
To the last comment: No, backroom associates are not helping stock. They have so much to do they cannot even keep up with their own work.
My club moved overnight to days. Our receiving guy working 3-11 will help drop and stock if there are no trucks at the moment.

S---aaas still working for Sams Club. I understand health benefits and longevity wage but damn 2% raises and shrinking pool of employees in each club. Props to those waiting on severance in ptc roles, cause it’s coming soon and it is obvious just like receiving change was obvious. H.O. is taking all your money and investing it inappropriately, meaning not increasing your wages appropriately. Wal-Mart is full of sh-- til they fix their low wages.

Exactly what happens to the ones of us who have kids in school and can't work till 1130? Do we have a choice of what shifts we get...especially if we have been there over 10 yrs

So in other words, they know nights moving to days would not work unless they schedule full timers to help. So you are no longer just a lead or whatever area you work in. You are also a stocker.

11:30 pm for all full timers? They are going to lose a lot of good people with this. If it's amonth long and switches to days like they say then there's no way I could do that and take care of my kids.
