It seems there would be jobs opening up at other railroads, Class 1s or short-lines, but I don't see it. Any information?

I can tell you if you apply for BNSF they will respond with at this time we are looking for more qualified candidates. I know I have applied for jobs there and I know of many others that have too and everyone has gotten the same response.
