The Problem with Lowe’s hiring is the champagne taste but a beer budget. I remember telling our market director that in a meeting 5 or so years ago and she looked at me like I was stupid. My recommendation from 8 years of wasted time there is for you to get out if you have good work ethic. You can't connect the dots looking forward when making the jump; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots somehow connect in your future. Just believe in yourself and Make the jump. Lowe’s will probably crumble like sears in the next 15 years, and has become chuck in a truck when it comes to reliability.

Lol. No. Lowe's problem is that it keeps ordering and paying for Champagne, but keeps being served a warm Miller High Life. Instead of saying something, they just keep accepting that warm swill and hoping the bartender gets it right next time. Nope, over and over again, they pay for champagne and get warm piss water instead.

Marvin knows there's no champagne to be had. It's nothing but a myth. He'll chill down that MHL and stop overpaying for it. The days of disgruntled old specialists b--ching to their coffee all day about being made to get up from the millwork desk and actually do something is over.

He's going to measure productivity, and if you don't perform, you'll be gone, replaced by a Department "Pro" or "expert" at $5 less per hour.

A manager left a pamphlet behind on how to interview. Some bs training module. Lowes interviewing has always been some bs psychology test that even they dont understand. Its why they have "yes men" and mo--ns working for them. Any good employee who slipped through the deterring interview process surely has quit by now, or looking to. Lowes is garbage, and its leaders are not fit to run a bath.
