So initially the bulletin came out with the total number of yard positions to be cut. Within hours of this bulletin notice they had started to panic knowing specific standard work needs done daily. This caused a reaction to not cut certain jobs on specific shifts. The final cut currently (to be changed anytime!) is---25 employees off our daily preference and maintaining extra board at 40 currently for any extra yard jobs to be called. Management was told to not call any yard extras unless absolutely necessary! Hence, we are falling behind on set times due to all requests being denied. As of Wednesday morning, as the organ effect is taking place there are 29 people on reserve/furlough status, 38 individuals with bumps available or yet to take furlough and 28 individuals that are still in training to become qualified employees before having the option to furlough. We will see the final outcome or what decisions will be made for the future of Bailey yard in time!?!

Heard it was one hostler/pilot per side, per shift, so six hostler/pilot crews total, so twelve jobs. Also heard it was one hump and one trim crew per side, per shift, so a total of twenty four jobs there. Thirty six cuts between hostler, pilot, hump, and trim. Can anyone confirm?
