I’m not even sure whether I have the right to complain, keeping in mind what other people are going through here and at other companies. I can say that I am satisgied with my pay and benefits and have a good flexible work schedule, given that I work from home, but If someone told me back when I started that I would be dealing with such unqualified and clueless management that even don’t care about their limitations and show a severe lack of interest in any process. In other words, good luck taking anything up with them. With that said I feel that a big portion of my work is wasted and it really is starting to piss me off. Has anybody faced similar issues?

dell has never be an innovative company, its just a copy cat with optimized supply chain system in place, if you are expecting something else in a commodity marketing company, you are in the wrong place. for those try to find a job in google or facebook and hope for the best.
"The sleepy management"
Well my friend the company you work for is run by a boss who is a sheer businessman knows only how to make $2 from $1. He is an entrepreneur by luck and chance. I don't think he is qualified technically or has written a single line of code his entire life. He is solely dependent on his hired management who are his best bootlickers. You can not expect merit, best management practice in this organization. It is a place for people charmers. If you like nothing to do and hang around by praising, worshiping your managers then this the right place. I learnt it the hard way.
yes, I face similar issue. zero interest from management. no interest in the process, and any sort of details. If work is an article, most manager (not all) will read ONLY the title, and all directors and above will read the first one or two words of the title. Not even the whole thing. This is also why any directors are qualified in Dell to direct any department from highly technical ones to pure blissful administrative ones.
Good to hear someone in the company actually has work to do.
