Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

Macy's end of the year b---s---!

It's the end of the year where Macy's tries to make the yearly sales number by having daily conference calls about budgets and hours. Only letting stores spend to budget and not on credits from programs thus creating backlog for every store and hurting our scorecard and numbers. And why, you ask? Because there are stores out there that have gone 3,000-7,000 hours over budget, so now we all have to suffer because a large majority of these "leaders" think the rules don't apply to them. To these stores I say, you s--- and you deserve to be fired 4,000-7,000 hours over budget but I continue to hear your store made credit, magic and sales. Well Geewiz I wonder why, you CHEATED. These same stores do this every year and have the same VSPM's, way to go Macy's reward the cheaters. F--- U, that's how we all feel. I know the higher ups read this, that's how I found this website because they were talking about it at a store walk through so a BIG F--- YOU to you also, douchebags.

yeah, same here in our store. we play by the rules, neighboring stores go way over and get results, the district then cuts hours, and then our people who live paycheck to paycheck then have to "pay back" their hours that they went over because of the workload.

Yup. I remember working in districts with VPSMs who were always overspending. They got results, of course. Eventually, I ended up following suit. I gave up and left when DVPs changed and no more BS’ing with hours. The workload became impossible. I feel for you.
