401k Match predictions

Number 1:

Match will be postponed until mid year results come out. Then nothing will be said and we never get a 2018 match.

Number 2:

The match values are different be cause one lists the entire match of 12 months for 2018, and the other only lists the match on the remaining 9 months of 2018, after the fudgery began.

Cramer is still touting the stock, but let's see what happens after Friday's earnings announcement.

My match was posted with yesterday’s date. I just moved it all to different investment option not caring if stock price is up or down today. Not investing any of my money in this company.

Stocks just happened to be a little higher today so of course they rushed and paid right away before they go down again. Probably had some VP sit and monitor for the perfect timing to click the pay button.

Good, I hope you are right and they just pay it out and be done with it. Tired of hearing about it really. They said they would pay us said amount and they are paying us said amount. I really don't think HW could care a less where the stock price is relative to the payout. We get the money. All we really missed out on is the dollar cost averaging by not getting it each pay check. An truthfully, the stock price was a lot higher during the year than it is now, so we should actually be getting more shares than we would have if they had paid it bi-weekly. It just worked out that way this year but could have been worse if the stock price was low most of the year.

Just got an advance notice. Email will be going out "week of the 28th" telling employees their match has been applied. So I assume it will be between Mon (28th) - Thurs (31st) since they indicated it would be payed in January.

You want the share price to be low when they pay you. You are getting a fixed dollar amount paid in shares of HI stock. A lower stock price means you will get more shares. Honeywell would prefer to give you fewer shares, so a higher share price works in their favor.

It must really s--- to have spent so much time at Honeywell and not have the skill set to find other employment, and having Honeywell on your resume is a severe detriment to future employment.
